Hot Stone massage incorporates the application of heated basalt stones to body to provide deep heat to the muscles (up to 1.5″ of heat penetration of superficial muscles) which will increase blood flow to the area and allow for a deeper massage. A number of heated stones will be arranged above and below the body to warm the muscles while a traditional massage (with or without essential oils) is performed including the use of Hot Stones to “iron out” the muscles and allow deeper massage.
